Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine if a child was denied the right to learn because they were not given the materials needed to expand their knowledge. How would they fulfill their longing to learn? When they are released into the world of reality, they will face obstacles that knowledge will allow them to overcome them.

Our students are eager to research new material and expand their range of knowledge but are sadly limited to slow computers that can take up to 5 minutes to load up ONE web-page.

They are all wonderful children and they need to be up to date with the newest technology to be able to maximize their learning capacity. Our school is not able to fund for this however, because our funds are distributed very thinly to our many classrooms since we are a Preschool-8th grade school.

My Project

With this new computer in our classroom, the students will be able to not only surf the internet to research various topics with ease, but will also be learning about the importance of technology in the present world. The world is being taken over by improving technology and with the technology in our classroom at the moment, they will not be able to progress along with the technology.

The donations will extremely improve our classroom for it will allow our students to research topics faster.

It will teach our students the skills needed to survive in the world after college with the advancing technology.
