My students need math and science games and supplies including snap circuits, a motion detector, three battery eliminators, a Thinkfun Distraction card game, and more.
I want to inspire my students to think creatively. They are amazing in every way but they could be even more with the right materials.
My school is newly reopened.
Every student at our school is new. Every teacher on our staff is new to the building. We have lots of new furniture, but we need math and science materials to fill our classes. Many of my students have come from science and math centered schools. We are an art-focused school, but I know I can give the students what they need in all curricular areas.
My Project
During math, we will use the games in our rotations so I can work with small groups and the other students can be working on growing other skills such as problem solving, turn-taking, creativity, perseverance, and to have a lot of fun. Students will also be able to create structures during our Friday Choice activities.
By receiving your generous donations to fund Keva construction blocks, Snap Circuits, Roominate, and other games, my students will blossom and grow.
They will be able to think more flexibly as well as work on social skills. These are very important in our technological world. They are training for jobs that don't even exist yet. These games and materials will foster their creative thinking.
