My students need different marble run sets to promote learning about gravity, angles, construction, problem solving, fine motor skills, eye tracking, speed and more.
Keeping a group of children's attention is hard. I've noticed this year, one of the activities that keep them focused and on their toes is our marble run maze. My kids love building and experimenting various structures of the marble run as it keeps them engaged and promotes thinking.
Welcome to Pre-K!
Come on in! We ask that you be respectful to those around you as well as the materials you play with. Language isn't an issue here, we're confident you'll pick it up quickly. We learn through play and exploration so you're required to bring your curiosity and imagination. Have fun!
Our kids are young, ambitious, and curious, but there's darkness lurking about that's much too serious. Pre-K is a time to explore and play, to imagine and create until the end of the day. But the trouble that's looming seems to be blooming. Academic rigor! Academic rigor! They're telling us to grow up much, much quicker. They want to prepare us to be college ready. We want to go to college, but at a pace that's steady.
Our parents can't help us out of the troubles that's lurking; it's not their fault! They're too busy working! It's up to you to help us keep our childhood we're about to lose, you wonderful people, the people of DonorsChoose!
My Project
Architects, engineers, designers, and other professions that require a person to think on their feet and create, all start somewhere. Their interest begin at some point in their life. Perhaps their interest developed when they were young as they built forts and castles. They created, found a fault, deconstructed, and rebuilt.
My students are very fond of our marble run. They will strongly benefit from different of marble run sets. Each set I've requested is a new and unexplored adventure for my students to embark on. The replay value on marble runs are endless, but with so many students who show great interest in these fun building structures, it's hard for all of them to enjoy at once.
Not only will these marble run allow students to think in a new way, it will also help them learn about gravity, angles, construction, problem solving, speed as well as help them develop their fine motor skills and eye tracking.
Our child centered interest based learning has called for various types of marble run.
It's a center that fills up instantly when it is open. Our students will enjoy creating and recreating fantastic marble runs builds as it will allow them to problem solve on their own as they work together to build a structure that will get the marble from the top to the bottom end. Expectations are being pushed to the lower grades. Your help will help keep play in pre-k.
