Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Rocking and reading so much fun!!! Why not make reading fun by getting to sit in a comfortable chair while enjoying your favorite story!!! Why not use it for a reward too? I can see my students now wanting to find out what they can do to get to sit in these fun chairs!!!

I teach in a rural area school.

Our kids come from middle class to low income homes. A lot of our children do not have the access to great technology at home so we try to provide more for them at school. Our school is around 53% free and reduced school lunches. Our kids are eager to learn away possible.

My Project

Learning is a lot of fun it the teacher makes it that way. I can remember getting to sit on the bean bag in my teachers room as a reward for finishing my work or even making a good grade on a test. The options are endless of what you can do to use these great chairs. Reading chairs are so much fun and my students will be like royalty just getting to use them. What a great way to boost their self esteem and confidence.
