My students need recycling containers so that they may begin to develop a habit of reducing waste and recycling resources.

Ms. Richardson Fickett Elementary School

This is a World Languages and Culture classroom for all students in a public inner city elementary school.

My school does not have containers for recycling anywhere in the building and most of my students do not recycle at home.

We need recycling bins in each classroom and around the common areas of the school so that students may participate in a recycling drive that will help them make recycling a habit.

Your help will begin a new way of thinking about the environment for my students. So many of them have a limited view of the world, not fully understanding the impact they have. Allowing them to take responsibility in their communities through recycling will empower them to continue making positive changes.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
