My students need tools such as Time for Kids, magic boards, pencils grips and earphones, to make their literacy block more engaging.

My Students

I would like my students to master the skills needed in first grade so they are prepared for the future.

My students are an enthusiastic group of young learners!

I have many English Language Learners, who are working their hardest to be masters of the first grade curriculum. Our school is focused on mastery. Each child had multiple opportunities to be successful and master the content.

My Project

These resources will add excitement to our literacy block each day. The pencil grips will help assist my students who are struggling to hold a pencil correctly during writing. The students will use the Time magazine subscription to add to our non fiction library collection in our classroom. We will be using the ear buds, magic boards, and the sentence building center during our independent work stations within our literacy block.

This project is focused on improving our resources for a great literacy block each day.

My students will have the tools to help them be successful this year, and beyond. Your donation will help bring reading to life for a great group of young learners.
