This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us discover the world! We have so many interests and would like to access the Internet to research them. We need a laptop to improve our reading, writing, and social science projects.

We are a 4th grade class in southern California.

The students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch, and 90% of the students are learning English as a second language. We have no computers in our classroom. 80% of the students do not have computers or Internet access in their homes.

My Project

Most students do not have the resources at home to gain the information they need to complete science, social studies, reading, and writing projects. Having a laptop in the classroom would allow the students to access information for their research projects.
