My students need Count & Compare Centers, Spin & Count Centers, and Numbers & Counting Magnetic Tins to help them learn numbers and practice counting skills.
Kindergarten students love to count and learn about numbers. They are concrete thinkers and need lots of hands-on materials to help them make connections between numerals and sets. I need resources to help them make these connections.
My class is made up of 25 eager learners.
My students come from all walks of life. Some come to school with no concept of numbers, while others are ready to soak up all the number sense I can explain to them. Regardless of where they are in the learning process, all of my children love to have hands-on materials to explore with. These resources just make math more fun!
My Project
The resources I am requesting will give my children opportunities throughout the school year to practice numbers and counting skills. They can use the Numbers and Counting Magnetic Activity Tins to practice matching numerals to sets. The Spin & Count to 20 Activity Centers will be perfect for teaching one-to-one correspondence. My students can use the Count and Compare Numbers Games to understand the concepts of more, less, and equal. All of these materials will get lots of use in our math center on a daily basis.
Kindergarten students love school, and I want to be able to give them even more reasons to love coming to my class.
Being able to provide them with such engaging materials will enhance their learning experience every day in my room. Please help us learn all about numbers by supporting this grant.
