The students in my Autistic Support classroom are beaming with energy to learn each and every day! Our wonderful diverse classroom is made up of students with Autism that come from various types of backgrounds and ethnicities. Each student is extremely different than the next and learns in a different way. Our school takes pride in our Special Education program and is extrmemly dedicated to the success of our students.
Our community is working endlessly to improve the educational opportunities of our neighborhood students.
The dedication of our teachers, staff, parents, and community partners have come together to gain access to resources that will help support our school.
My Project
Generous donations to this project will provide my students with access to up to date computer programming via tablets. Programs include resources to increase literacy, math, writing, and social skills. The programs we already have access to allow each student to work on their specific areas of need. The tablets will be used individually, within centers, and to supplement the math and literacy curriculum.
The idea of accessing these substantial research based programs sounds incredible.
However, we do not have the proper technology to access these programs. Unfortunately, budget cuts and lack of resources have put us in a standstill situation. I hope you can help us gain access to materials that will race us to the top!
