My Students

Can your imagine if your whole world was white? White board, white papers, white walls, white tape... It gets old. My students need paper that is as vibrant as they are to portray in a visually pleasing way what they are learning!

My 200 students are 7th and 8th graders in DC who are preparing for high school.

They are taking Spanish class now to prepare them to be successful in their high school foreign language class so that they can get into a good college. They are overcoming challenges and seeing successes and deserve a quality education.

My Project

My students are vibrant and LOVE doing art projects. The school has provided each classroom with a sufficient number of markers, but the children are always asking for and excited by brightly colored paper to use for their art projects. In addition to using paper for projects, we are also requesting a stamp to class each student's preparation for class to prepare them to be responsible students in high school.

This project is important because having these materials will make the students more excited about becoming engaged with the content.

They are capable of doing wonderful things and I want to enable them by providing sufficient materials!
