My Students

Out with the old, in with the new. We need a document camera to replace our old, worn-out overhead projector.

I teach 20 second grade students.

We live in rural, Northern California. We are housed in a one school district with less than 500 students at our school. We live among the timber, cattle ranches, and logging companies. My students are enthusiastic, energetic and love new an innovative ways to learn.

My Project

My students need an Epson document camera. We will use the camera to project manipulatives, pages from books and workbooks pages onto our Smartboard. Having a document camera will provide access to the entire curriculum to my entire class. Images will be displayed on the Smartboard. The images will be large and students at the back of the room will be able to see as clear as those in the front.

Providing my students with a document camera will give them total access to our curriculum.

Our overhead projector is a thing of the past. It doesn't provide access to all. A document camera will allow for all students to see and be more involved with the lessons.
