My Students

Books in Spanish are hard to find. But harder is to have enough resources for the whole class. An immersion program is complex and in a permanent need of resources. The Internet is providing me many resources, but I would like to be able to share this with my whole class.

Our students are kids between 5 and 6 years old.

We have a diverse population. They attend a charter school with a promising vision for education in Missouri. We are an immersion program in Spanish with a lack of resources, but with tons of energy and hope to make our children succeed.

My Project

With a projector in the class, the students should be able to enrich their learning opportunities through the Internet. Technology can offer them an opportunity to continue learning and to succeed in another language. A projector can give them the opportunity to enjoy ebooks, photos, videos in the target language.

We can make a difference: A charter school has challenges, but that is not to stop us from trying hard to get the best resources and tools for our kindergarteners.

Just to be able to show all the class resources from the Internet could be awesome. Most of the people remember their kindergarten teacher because they made a difference in their lives and we really want to leave a print in their lives.
