Amazing art tools often inspire the most reluctant art student!
My students are enthusiastic diverse learners from all walks of life.
Many of them have rich experiences outside of the classroom and many of them gain those experiences inside our classroom. These high school students love using high quality professional tools.
My Project
The pens and pencils I am requesting for this project will be used to inspire the imaginations of my high school art students. Prismacolor colored pencils are top of the line colored pencils that allow students to learn about color, color mixing, and creating depth in a work of art. Micron pens are excellent for learning about value through hatching, crosshatching, and stippling.
I first used these materials as a college art student and couldn't believe the difference in quality. I know my students will benefit from using these tools.
These art materials improve my students' lives by providing them with tools that actual artists use to create amazing works of art.
Having excellent tools motivates students to create. I've seen this first hand with the Copic markers that were provided through a different project. Students get very excited to use these materials. Some students even come in at lunch and after school to work on their projects. I know these pens and colored pencils will do the same.
