Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What is more enjoyable than an inquisitive 4 year old in a Pre-K class? Well, a Pre-K classroom full of inquisitive investigative 4 year olds!
We are a bunch of bilingual and gen ed students who are boisterous, eager, and ready to learn.
We just happen to be in a high poverty, low income area in one of the largest urban districts in the US. However, this does not get us down nor does it hinder our learning. We are creative, but we can always use some help!
My Project
We would love the math manipulatives in order to help us with counting, sorting, sizing, and graphing items. The letters and books will help with our letter recognition, literacy building, and phonemic awareness. These are the basics we need in order to have a great foundation for our future academic years.
These donations will definitely improve the learning process of all my students this year and for years to come.
They have a right to the best education out there and these items will certainly move us in that direction! Just because we are in a high poverty area, this does not mean that they cannot have a wonderful classroom experience! Thank you for everything!
