Where would you be without technology? It is hard to imagine our day to day life without the latest technology at our fingertips. The students in our class are hungry to learn more through the use of computers.
My four year old students are very active and absolutely love to learn.
They are little sponges and will soak up any knowledge they can. They are always hungry to learn more and to learn through different learning styles.
The students in my class attend a low income, Title 1 school. Our school qualifies for 100% free lunch. Being part of a low income school means our students do not have the resources they need to stay on track to keep up with their peers. Our school has one computer lab that our class visits about once a month. We have access to two iPads. With the large class size it is rare that each student receives an adequate amount of time using the technology we have available.
My Project
Having access to two extra iPad minis will create a much needed technology area in our classroom. My students will have another style of learning within our classroom. They will have a better chance at keeping up and surpassing their peers that have better access to technology.
My students will be able to learn at their own pace with the multitude of activities available on the iPad minis. They will have access to literacy, math, science, social studies, music, and much more.
