My Students

Entrepreneurs are key to economic growth and my students are future entrepreneurs. My kids work hard to achieve the goal of writing a complete business plan. The challenge in writing the business plan is that business concepts can be difficult to grasp. Resources to test these concepts are vital.

The students in my classes live in a community considered to be 50% low income and they have dreams of success in mind.

Some examples of the business dreams they have include lawn care, Spanish to English translation services, photography, pet care services, auto repair services, and many more. Their ideas come from a need they see in their community and from a passion that they have. My students are hard workers but they also have very busy lives.

My Project

Obtaining the Wireless Buzzer system requested will allow me to add an additional series of review activities for the difficult business concepts they are learning. I will be able to set up a quiz show and Jeopardy like review games that will enhance the learning environment and of course, add a little fun!

I have a true passion for teaching entrepreneurship, especially in today's economic climate.

I think that many would agree that entrepreneurship is a necessity for economic growth and what better way to start than with our young adults who will be our future leaders. My students show a deep passion for the businesses they look to open and I want to do everything I can to help them get to that point. Thank you for your support, it is very much appreciated!
