My students need laptops to be able to research and work in collaborative groups in our media center. We only have two desktops in our library at the present time.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are ready to research and work in groups but we have no laptops at our school and only have 2 desktops in the library for researching. These 10 Chromebooks would be used for accessing our ebooks as well as research data bases. They would be able to use them at our collaborating tables.

We are an elementary school in an urban area.

Our sweet babies are 88% free and reduced meals. We have over 600 kids but only two desktops in our media center. Our babies are ready to research but we just don't have the technology to meet their needs.

My Project

I want to create areas in our library where students can do research independently and in groups. We also have ebooks but no devices for the students to read them on. We plan to allow them to use them for researching as well as creating projects to share their new understandings.

Your donations will open a whole new world for our students where they can Learn~Create and Share~ These Chromebooks will be in our media center so that our whole school population will have access to them.
