Ms. Marbury from Birmingham AL is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need two Apple iPads for classroom activities. The iPads that I'm requesting are high quality that will help them during center rotation, and group activity time.

This is the generation of technolgy. Most children are technology savvy. I only have 2 classroom computers, and which is very difficult during center rotation and AR test day. It takes approximately 4 hours to complete our AR test, because we do not have enough technology.
My students come from all demographics, and they are eager to learn.
I have taught grades K-8, however this year I'm teaching Kindergarten. In the day and age, most students are very technology savvy, and love computers, ipads, and tablets. The school that I instruct at has two shared computer labs, and each classroom has two computers, which is not enough for centers, testing, research, or free computer time. If I have two ipads, It would be easy for students to complete assignments, reseach for projects, as well as assessments.
My students will use the ipads for reading, research for IB projects, and assessments. Since we only have two computers in our classroom, I'm usually using one completing attendance, emailing parents, and assessing students. The ipads would help my students tremendously with their classroom assignments.
This donation will brighten my class by helping me teach technology, sharing, and further my students learning.
This will allow for some of my students who don't have access to technology at home to complete some research in the classroom. It will also expose my students on ways to research technology.
