My students need a printer and ink in the classroom to print in class reports and complete projects they are not able to complete at home.

My favorite quote is : The best teacher is one who never forgets what its likes to be a student!" Neila Conner. This is why I believe in providing students with every possible opportunity to learn, whether it pertains to academics or life!
I have 16 students in my class.
There are six girls and ten boys. Majority of my students come form a low social economic background. There are three students who have Individualize Education Plan's and BIP. My school has approximately 425 students, majority of our students are African-American. My students need a lot of encouragement when it comes to learning. Most are eager to learn and are receptive to positive reinforcement. They have limited background knowledge, therefore its difficult for them to relate or connect their experiences to most of the stories within our reading program. I use projects and writing opportunities for them to express themselves and utilize their creativity.
My students will be able to use the printer and ink when they complete writing assignments or projects. This will save us time and provide students with a viable resource in the classroom. Students will not have to wait for me to print their work once it is completed. They will be able to print their work, get it off the printer, and turn it in. This will also provide them with a chance demonstrate responsibility for their assigned work.

They will learn how to print and pick up their work off the printer. This will also provide them with a chance to demonstrate responsibility for their assigned work. We will have adequate supplies in the classroom to assure minimal down time and uninterrupted instruction. Students will be assure they have the resources to complete every assignment and project. I will be able to hold students accountable for work.
