Leo Buscaglia stated, “Change is the end result of all true learning.” Accepting change in education is crucial; it indeed breeds learning. My students and I want to learn about Windows 10 and project based learning. A role we are ready to embrace!
I am truly fortunate to work at a dedicated elementary feeder school with more than 500 students from Pre K through 5th grade.
Our community is definitely one that is centered on education and our children. I have taught several grade levels, as well as working in SPED. I love my students and bring out what is positive in them. Our teachers and students are active in utilizing technology in our classrooms daily.
My Project
My goal for this unique project lies with using a Windows 10 computer and implementing more project-based learning lessons. With new equipment, there is always change, but we are ready for the task at hand. With that said, I also know the importance of focusing on individual student levels. With the use of an upgraded Windows 10 all in one computer, my students could work in centers to strengthen skills and be creative. In my opinion, growth should always be a priority, and it is something I strive for. Technology has helped me achieve that goal in many ways. My plan would be to utilize that to help lessen learning gaps with my students. I know combining technology resources for our students would be productive. I also plan to connect the computer to my interactive whiteboard for whole class instruction. It would be used in centers for group and individual activities. As a teacher, I love "Empowering Students Through Art". This resource could help my students mesh academics and art.

With a goal in my mind, my students and I will strive to continue learning with a new computer and operating system. As an elementary teacher, I know that technology can play a vital role in the classroom. With the use of a new "all-in-one computer", it would help my 2nd grade students reinforce skills.
