"Empowering Students Through Art" can be done with a digital camera and students. With this Nikon camera and accessories, I could utilize this to mesh digital (fun filled) projects with our computers. Oh Snap! We'd like a camera to document our classroom adventures! Can you help us?
As you may imagine, my 6 and 7 year old students are a constant bundle of energy and always love using technology tools.
Right now, I am teaching 1st grade after spending many years as a 4th grade team teacher. At this time, like my students, I am learning as I go. Our school is one in the district who strives for technology resources in our classroom. Each year, we have school tech campaigns to try and help ourselves gain more technology for our students.
My Project
"Empowering Students Through Art" meshed with the curriculum is my digital goal with a camera. To achieve my goal of adding digital lessons to my classroom, my students and I need a camera, memory card,and bag. Technology is part of our school's vision. As a teacher, I "involve" our students with activities by offering technology-based activities. As new technologies emerge annually, we're working to gain new equipment to enhance student learning. We've had an "Eye on Tech" campaign in place since 2009. At this time, I'd like to continue growing by adding a camera and its accessories to my classroom. This digital tool would enhance many of my reading lessons. The students could use it for project-based learning projects. A new camera would enable my students to participate in academic and art lessons that also enhance my lessons. Technology brings so much to the classroom.
With the help of your funding, my students can have a camera to incorporate my technology tools.
