My Students
My classroom is a community of learners with various skills and needs. We are a self-sufficient and student-centered classroom with an enormous interest for learning more through technology. All of the students completely enjoyed learning on the new MacBook Pro this year!
My students are the best!
I am very lucky to be able to teach in such a diverse and encouraging culture that is our school community. We celebrate our likes and differences! My students have learned what it takes to be a successful student in the digital age through exploring, questioning, and researching multiple topics using the technology that we have been blessed with!
My Project
My students need Apple laptop computer accessories, such a microphone, speakers, power adapter, case and cooling system, to further enhance their already glowing experience with literacy, math and comprehension on their new MacBookPro. With the new accessories, we will be able to use the microphone to enhance our recording when we make our writer's workshop movies. We will use the protective case and sleeves to keep our new technology safe and able ready for many years to come. The students will also be able to hear themselves through the new speakers more clearly as we share our digital creations with others!
My students will get to use technology that they would otherwise never be able to access due to financial restraints.
My students would be able to take the knowledge that they acquire from using this new technology and carry it forth with them into the upper grades and beyond as they prepare for a world of interacting with and through technology!
