New Classroom Library

My students need book boxes, a mobile organizer for center storage, somewhere to turn in their work, and lapboards for center work to complete our new literacy area.

My Students

Have you ever not been able to find exactly what you were looking for?

This May marks the one year anniversary of the tornado that turned our lives upside down.

It has been a year of growth, and the classroom has become a safe haven. My students are in desperate need of finding a home away from home, and a sense of calm among the chaos of putting their lives back together.

My Project

With these resources, we will be able to organize our classroom library into manageable genre boxes, allowing students to find the perfect book more quickly. I am also requesting a teacher's organizer and 6 drawer mobile organizer to hold our literacy centers. To go along with our literacy centers, we will also need lapboards for students to show their work. I am also requesting an organizer for students to turn their work in to help us keep our literacy area tidy.

I am a first year teacher and am making it a priority to have a neat, organized classroom in order to give my students a sense of calm when they enter the door.

With their lives in such disarray for one reason or another, these students need that feeling.
