My Students

Many of my students only have computer access while they are at school. The majority of my students are unable to afford to purchase computers, yet to succeed they need to have access to them.

My students are good kids who come from a variety of homes.

We have military families, special education students, gifted and talented students, English Language Learners, and students from a variety of cultures and religions. My students need every advantage they can to succeed. They thrive on interaction and success. They must have access to state of the art knowledge to prepare them for the careers of tomorrow.

My Project

Currently, there are no student computers in my classroom. I would love for my students to have easy access to computers, but we have space and money issues. I have a small classroom and there just is not enough space for every student to consistently have access to computers. What I would like to do is begin building a Chromebook lab on our classroom. Having Chromebooks for each child in the classroom can solve our problem because they are reasonably priced and do not take up a lot of space.

Chromebooks are small and versatile.

They can be used just as a desktop, but with a much smaller amount of space. Students can read books on the Chromebook, use applications to further their learning, research a topic, create presentations, and so much more. Access to technology is access to learning. Please help us access learning. Your donation will provide my students incredible new learning opportunities.
