My students are great kids who work hard. They don't have everything that a lot of other kids get because there are too many obstacles. They can overcome these obstacles by taking their mind elsewhere and but having the opportunity to be creative in their learning.
My students are very diverse and many of them speak two languages.
We love to celebrate their diversity in learning. We work together to help them have all the opportunities they need to show their knowledge. We work hard to overcome the obstacles they have when learning. My students are also very creative. They love to show their creativity in ways that are fun.
My Project
These iPads will create a great opportunity for my students. They will use the iPads to create iMovies and movie trailers to show what they learned. They can take what they learned and show it off in a creative way that also makes them be able to work in a group. They will also have to show their leadership skills and how to use everyone's ideas. I feel that the ability to work together is just as important as the content they are sharing with others.
Even though the main goal is to help students with projects to be creative, the will not just be sitting around the rest of the day. During Reading and Math, they will be able to also work on those skills to become better and enrich their learning.

The world now is focused on technology, and our classrooms have to reflect that. By having these iPads in the classroom I will be able to make sure my students are ready for the 21st century by teaching them the skills early.
