My students need durable, sturdy bins in which to put our classroom library books! My students need dry erase markers, as we use these daily and recycle them often!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A typical day in my classroom includes laughter, creativity, frustration and fun! We have most basic school supplies, however our first grade hands are not the most gentle! We read very often in class, and basic wear and tear is happening to our books and book boxes.
I have 23 wonderful six year olds every day, from 7:30 to 3:30.
My central Texas school is growing rapidly and quickly! My classroom is very student centered, and the students appreciate that! My kids are funny, silly, smart and are always asking questions!
My Project
My students will be able to read daily without cardboard book boxes falling apart. My students will be able to write with dry erase markers that work and are not drying out. We use our book boxes daily during read to self time and our white boards/markers daily during word work and math.
This project will make a difference in classroom organization, increase our resources and supplies, and help our day run much smoother!
We won't have to stop in the middle of lessons to hunt for new markers that work, or take away reading time to duct tape cardboard book boxes together!
