MimioTeach Me Financial Literacy, Economics, Coins, & Money
My students need interactive math and literacy CDs and a MimioTeach Interactive Whiteboard to work on financial literacy, economics, coins, and money concepts daily.
"Mrs. S, I don't know how!" Many times in my classroom students struggle with certain skills. The MimioTeach & interactive cds are so appealing and versatile that the students will not only enjoy using it, but they will practice the necessary skills to succeed in our 1st grade classroom
My 1st grade students attend an urban charter school which is in its first year and lacking supplies.
My 25 inclusion students are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of their time here at school. I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible.
My Project
Studies show that there is a 30-million-word deficit in young students who come from high poverty areas. The MimioTeach Interactive Whiteboard and Interactive Math and Literacy cd's will be used DAILY to help bridge this gap. We will not only use this as a whole group meeting area to build financial literacy, economics, coins, and money (as well as other common core standards), but students will also have the opportunity to visit the center daily to build these skills independently. The students will not only have their growth tracked daily by amazing technology, but they will also enjoy working with new technology in our room!
