My students need a variety of math resources to help ensure mastery including leveled games covering multiplication, division, elapsed time, and place value skills.
Albert Einstein once said, "A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new." What was it that got you interested in math? Was it worksheets? Maybe flashcards? Games are what hooked my 3rd graders.
My third graders shine as bright as the Florida sun.
These future leaders attend a Title I Elementary School. Most receive free or reduced price lunch. They love to learn, but many do not get as much support at home as they need or deserve. Each of my students is unique and they all help create a wonderful classroom environment.
My Project
These hands-on resources will enable my students gain a much deeper understanding of place value, multiplication, and time than any worksheet could give them. The partner games will allow my students the opportunity to talk out fraction concepts and teach each other. The games will help struggling students as well as enrich students who have a higher level of understanding on the topics. By using these resources my students will not only gain a better understanding, they will gain confidence.
