My Students

I work with students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade during small group instruction time. My students need pattern blocks and activity cards. The class that these pattern blocks and activity cards will be going to is a 1st grade group of 25 kids.

The students at our elementary school are very hardworking and love to learn and explore new concepts and ideas.

They are eager to learn and are dedicated students. The demographics include various backgrounds such as White, Spanish, Greek, and Tongan.

My Project

These resources will help the students experience more hands-on activities during whole group and small group instruction. Not only will the students in this one first grade class benefit from them, but they will be shared among the entire first grade team.

I want these students to become strong mathematicians and enjoy working individually, with partners and groups during math instruction.

I feel that having more hands-on math activities during small group instruction time will make math more fun and interesting for the students!
