My Students

A quote in our classroom states, "Math is the Path." My students are eager mathematicians always searching for new challenges.

The students in my classroom are excited and capable learners especially when it is math time.

Math offers them the opportunity to conquer challenging concepts and problems. The students benefit from hands-on learning activities especially when working in cooperative groups on projects and math problems.

My Project

The ITSPHUN geometric construction kits will be used to explore different geometric shapes. In addition to studying shapes in their textbooks, now my 5th graders will be able to construct cubes, pyramids, triangular and rectangular prisms, and other geometric shapes. The pieces can also be used by the students to create their own unique structures as a creative medium showing the students a connection between math and art.

My 5th grade students will develop a deeper understanding of geometry by constructing shapes using the interlocking pieces from the ITSPHUN geometric construction kits.

The kits will benefit students in my classroom for many years.
