My students need math resources and games, including 3 learning centers and a variety of Match-Ups, that they can use independently in order to reinforce basic math skills.

My Students

Practice makes perfect. I work with elementary aged students who have learning disabilities. My students require high repetition of basic skills in order to lock them into their long term memory. These resources will allow extensive practice without the misuse of paper.

Students attend the Learning Lab in order to work toward grade level ability in reading, math, and written expression.

Many of my students have limited memory skills, so they require daily practice with basic skills in order to have them in their long term memory. Each of my wonderful students is on an IEP and each is working hard to get where they need to be. These resources would assist them in acquiring the basic skills they need in order to be successful.

My Project

Children with learning disabilities often need extensive practice with new skills in order to master them. These math centers will allow students to work toward their math goals individually. It is critical for students to build a solid foundation in math in order to be successful in life.

Having strong fundamental skills in broad math will make learning easier throughout students' entire educational careers.

Those who can perform basic math facts quickly and effectively are more prepared for their educational future. Students' with learning differences need additional opportunities to practice those basic skills in order to learn and retrieve them automatically. These resources will help my students achieve this goal without going through tons of paper.
