My students need an iPad Mini to help replace our antique iPods in our classroom, which are 6years old and don't run many of the apps we need.

My Students

Why an iPad Mini? Consider the following: Landing Curiosity on Mars, Felix Baumgartner's jump from the edge of space, engaging video, raps learning grade-level vocabulary, Bill Nye the Science Guy lessons, and books on "tape".

My students are 4th graders, between 8 and 9 years old, leaving a small 3rd grade class for a 4th grade class with more students, which cuts down on the amount of attention they received just a few months ago.

Now, they can hold a little help in the palm of their hand.

My Project

Ever flown over your town to see your house from 500 feet? My students can with Google Earth. Who lives closer to school, you or your best friend? Pull it up and measure it out! Spelling practice, learning vocabulary with flashcards with full-color photos, challenge each other to learning math facts, I can hand it to them, in an iPad Mini, with your help! Want to see the Eiffel Tower from space? Done. Photos of van Gogh's paintings? How many can your eyes take in? Google it! Enjoy! Synonyms? Antonyms? Spellings? Noun or verb? Yes, there’s an app for that!

I don't have to tell you how tight funds are for schools.
