My Students

Learning is a process of trial and error. Students need to be given the opportunity to explore their imaginations and learn through testing and hands-on discovery.

We are fifth grade class that loves to learn.

My students attend a charter school that does not have extra funding to provide our classroom with all the interactive tools we need to learn science. My class deserves the best education possible and that means having an opportunity to use interactive tools. I would like to transfer my classroom into a MakerSpace where my students are able to collaborate while working on projects and creations using their imaginations.

My Project

The requested six Joylabz Makey Makey An Invention for Everyone Science Kits will allow students to be creative, imaginative, and inventive. With Makey Makeys, students can make anything they can imagine. Students can explore circuitry through the use of alligator clips and connect laptops to the program. Alligator clips attach to everyday items (anything from bananas to Play-Doh) and the computer will respond normally through whatever program they are working on.

The Makey Makeys will allow my students to think outside the box when it comes to their projects.

These six kits will allow my students to engage in higher level thinking and explore with their imaginations.
