My Students

It's all about Literacy Centers and Differentiation! Forget paper and pencil, kindergarten kids need hands on materials to learn their way.

My kinders are happy, lively learners.

They can't sit still for long and are happiest on the floor interacting with each other. Teaching in the Utah public school system means larger than desirable class sizes. Center Time needs to be engaging, relevant, and independent.

My Project

I would like to see my students be able to have more time learning and having fun while they do it. These literacy and mathematics manipulative's are just the thing to enhance their Center Time experience. They will be having so much fun that they won't even know they are learning!

Helping turn five and six year olds into readers is no easy task.

Kids want and need to play! There is a way for them to do both. Learning games and hands-on activities ensure that they are engaged. This way, they are playing AND learning and everyone is happy!
