My Students

We love learning! It is extremely hard to know how successful you are when you are young and that's where this camera will help my students see themselves in a positive and motivating light.

My students are passionate about learning.

We are in a Title 1 school that is need of resources like these. Some of my students come from homes where they are never read to. Part of being motivated is seeing yourself as an accomplished student. I want my kids to see what I see every day. I see their hard work, passion, and their motivation to do their best every day.

My Project

A big part of being a teacher is motivating students and making them feel successful. I have students that are extremely successful but sometimes have trouble seeing what I see in them. With this camera I can show them exactly what I see and other students see. I will use this Flip Video to record them reading and play it back to them so they can see how accomplished they are as well as where they can make improvements. And I will use the camera to document projects and classroom activities over the year. We need to make sure that every student feels that they can do anything they set their mind to. I want them to take chances and risks. Not only will I tell them but now I will be able to show them with this camera.

Kids need to see their success, and sometimes telling them is not enough.

With this camera I can use it over the years to record students reading, share with parents what their child is doing in class, and document their progress. With this camera the students will start to see themselves as a successful, accomplished, and hard working student.
