My Students

How much more exciting would it be to read a book with a brand new Kindle Fire, rather than an old paperback?

I work in a school district where money is tight, and the little "extras" are not ordered.

We cannot afford much beyond what is absolutely necessary. My kids love coming to school everyday, and we are oftentimes their only sense of consistency in their little lives.

My Project

We read, we write, and we do arithmetic. We use pencils and markers and crayons. We read books. How exciting would it be to do it all on a brand new Kindle Fire? I could only imagine the looks on their little faces now. I see them huddled in a corner, reading one of their favorite e-books!

Could you help make this dream a reality for us?

I would love to put this type of technology in their little hands. There's no way that I could afford it on my own, and there is no way I'd ever be allowed to put that on an order form. I love hearing my students read from a book...let's see how far we can take this!
