Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is filled with fun and engaging learning activities. We are actively involved in a rotating workshop, internet researches and many other rigorous activities.
My students are a class of 20 eager learners where the majority comes from low income families in Compton, California.
We are working as a school to improve learning outcomes. We are doing our best not to let our challenges overcome our desire to be productive learners and citizens.
My Project
It's time to write! Like every other classroom, we are expected to produce quality writing papers. This is one of our biggest struggles, mastering the writing process! We'd like to use these writing center materials to help us produce quality papers in a fun and engaging way!
Donations to this project will help get us on the ball to becoming great writers.
I am excited to see the imagination of my students bloom in their writing. We really need the practice in sequencing, details, main idea and nonfiction writing that these activity centers provide!
