My Students

My students come from homes where technology for learning isn't up to date or common. I want to provide this learning tool to introduce them to technology so they will be prepared for their future learning in middle school, high school, and college!

My students come from lower middle class families, where money isn't always readily available.

My students live in a high poverty area, where their community school is the pride of the neighborhood. We attend school in updated building that is still missing a few technological accessories.

My Project

My future fifth graders need an iPad to help them practice with engagement the foundation math skills that many lack. They will be used as a math center to encourage learning math through technology, as well as provide practice through games with current content we are studying.

This project is so important to me because I want to provide the best positive learning environment for my students.

I know they come from many homes where the environment is not always positive and learning is not reinforced. I want to reinforce math skills as much as possible so they have a solid foundation before going onto more difficult 6th grade math.
