My students need materials, such as Alphabet Mystery Box, Pop & Add to 12 Game, and Know Your Colors Sorting Baskets, to use for ABC Centers and learning centers.
A typical day in Kindergarten consists of a great deal of learning. Every lesson, each activity, and every center is connected in a way. I have high standards for my students and would like for all of them to reading and writing when they leave my class. The learning games will help them get there.
I have a class full of 19 bright and unique children.
They are so much fun and are so eager to learn. They deserve the best education that I can give them and I would love to help make learning fun by having activities for them to use in my classroom. ABC and learning centers are their most favorite part of the day and I would love to have more activities for them to use.
My Project
The resources will be used during ABC centers, learning, and play centers. Each game or activity I have chosen will reinforce subjects that I have taught in my classroom. Some of the games will help them to learn letters and sounds, some will help with handwriting, and some games will strengthen their math skills. All of the games will allow each student to continue that learning all by themselves and also with their friends.
The donations will improve my classroom because I will actually have resources and materials for them to use for their learning.
This is only my third year of teaching and most of the materials I have I have made myself. The games and activities I have chosen will help make learning fun and will help with their comprehension of what is taught.
