My students need a class set of the wonderful LeapFrog Letter Factory DVD and Little Ears CD to get a jump start on their first year of education.

I teach kindergarten in Illinois with 2 other people. My curious, friendly and exciting kindergartners come from diverse backgrounds. They are racially, economically and academically diverse. They love to learn and engage in all sorts of activities.

With the many budget cuts happening, one of the first things to go is money for those extra tools that make learning fun and exciting.

Many of my students are at risk or ESL and by having a class set of the LeapFrog letter factory DVD and Little Ears Cd, students will have that extra help they need for learning their letters and letter sounds. By knowing their letters and sounds students will be building a strong foundation for reading, writing and being successful.

With your help students will see how fun and exciting learning can be. Children will also begin to build a strong base that they will carry with them for the rest of their educational experience.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
