My Students

This is a new class to our school that allows students to be freely creative through whichever medium they find inspiring.

Throughout the course of a school year, roughly one hundred and twenty 7th grade students will experience this class, "The Flex for Extraordinarily Original and Uniquely Creative Individuals", at our junior high, where our student population is very diverse.

We welcome students from five towns and their surrounding areas, creating a school filled with urban, suburban and rural students.

My Project

Students in this class will have the opportunity to choose different activities to explore their creativity. The class will include options of drawing, painting, doodling, origami, DIY, scrapbooks, jewelry making and much, much more. The art supplies that we're asking for will help them complete these projects from start to finish, including brushes, paints, paper, ink, punches, paper trimmers and cutting pads, and adhesives.

All students need a creative outlet to express their individuality.

By supporting this project, you'll be providing students the opportunity to freely explore avenues of creativity that were not previously available to them. By discovering these talents, skills and interests, students are provided a full-circle approach to learning, experiencing and understanding the world around them, as well as sharing their thoughts and feelings freely without judgment or grades.
