My Students

"The walls between art & engineering exist only in our minds." -Theo Jansen This project is a partnership with the visual arts and technology, engineering and design classes at our school.

This project will be reaching both the Visual Arts students and the Technology Engineering and Design students at our school.

Our students are highly motivated and many come from families with artists, technical and engineering backgrounds. Our school is located in the heart of a research park known for its technical advances.

My Project

Our strategies for implementing the 3D printer include, but are not limited to, team and collaborative projects among each individual class as well as collaboration between the arts department and technology, engineering and design department. This program will enhance student interests in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), as we promote cross curricular collaboration.

Technologies are having a major impact on education.

Adding a 3D printer into our programs will open up a new world for our students by creating an environment where they are not limited to textbook explorations. With this advanced technology we can take our students to a new level by providing an authentic and state-of-the-art learning experience.
