My student are hungry, not only for the food in the cafeteria, but also for a colorful classroom.
My classroom is in great need of a color printer and ink cartridges.
This new printer will benefit all students in my classroom. Adding color printing capabilities to our class will allow me to display hard copies of their stories, research projects, and maps in color.
In addition, I will have greater ability to provide color prints of the many primary and secondary resources we use from Internet archives. For instance, being able to see that the oceans are blue and landforms are brown or green instead of shades of black and gray will make learning during Social Studies instruction more meaningful. Being able to provide students with full-color resources would be priceless. Please help make their world a brighter place. Thank you so much.
My Project
Recently, donors kindly funded a project here on Donor's Choose that will help my students become better writers. Once my student's write stories, the next step is to have them printed. My students will be able to create and print their own work with this printer. Children love to print their work on the computer because it shows their pride in their work. Having a new color printer would give the children in my class the opportunity to add color pictures to stories they type. This would then make the students work harder on their work. This new printer would give the children an opportunity to type their stories and pictures.
This printer will also allow me to create more learning materials. Since we have implemented the new Florida standards there are a lot of new materials to print. I will be able to print items that will help my struggling students, as well as, challenge the students who need it.

The resources (color printer, copier, and ink) will be able to be used for many years to assist many students that come into my classroom. Each child will become a more confident and successful student because of the opportunities given to them to use the materials provided by you, the donor.
