My Students

Technology is important and helpful for anyone; however, for students with disabilities, it can truly have HUGE impacts on their learning and understanding of ideas, concepts and communication.

We have 10 students k-5th grade coming in and out of our 2 rooms every day.

This resource classroom works by supporting the homeroom teacher in her classroom. The students spend time in our classroom working on the areas where they most need support.

My Project

My students need 3 iPads and 3 durable iPad cases. Our students will us the iPads to complete math and reading programs, enjoy an online library, and play educational games. I will also use the iPads with whole group instruction time, pulling clips that pertain to lessons, showing visual aids and reading to students from the online library.

This technology will make huge improvements.

It will allow me to have more one-on-one time with my students, and it will give us another tool in our tool belt to enrich these kids and get them as close to grade level as we can.
