Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Who doesn't want to be in a classroom that is exciting and engaging every day? The I Teach K! Conference provides teachers a chance to come together and share ideas and learn how to engage their students in daily lessons with fun hands on activities.
My students are so excited to be at school.
They come through the door each day with big smiles and are ready to learn. My school is a Title One school, with a big Hispanic population. I am always looking for the best ways to meet the needs of each of my students as individuals, whether they love to learn through music, movement,visually, etc.
My Project
My students will benefit by me attending this conference. I will be able to come back for the next school year with the lastest and greatest teaching ideas and methods. With the focus of the conference on interactivity, reaching all my learners, techniques for behavior and classroom management, and always bringing FUN into the class, this conference will provide me with the tools to bring back engaging lessons to my students. It will provide me with innovative ideas to jump-start my students critical thinking skills.
Given the opportunity to attend this conference will provide my students with the best teacher I can be.
The more knowledge and love I have for education the more I can pass on to my students.
