This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

How do you spell professional? How do you spell education? These are the questions I get from my students as they complete their daily writing prompts.

My students shouldn't have to rely on me to spell every word and as a teacher of 53 students I couldn't possibly keep up with all the "How do you spell.." requests.

My students have inquiring minds and the desire to push their learning. They want to spell words correctly and they deserve the resources to help them do so.

My Project

An illustrated dictionary will allow my students to grow as writers everyday. They will have the dictionary in their desks and be able to use them in all of our writing activities. I know they will be so thankful for this resource. They love to grow their brains as much as possible!

Every child deserves to have access to a dictionary.

It will help my students' learning tremendously and I know they will all be SO thankful. They all want to do their best and learn as much as possible!
