My Students

Help us practice our math skills in a fun new way!

My students are a diverse group of students attending a large title 1 school in Texas.

Title 1 means that a majority of our students and families face economic hardships. Despite these hardships, our students come to school every day; ready to face the challenge of learning.

My Project

I am requesting Hot Dots Math Quiz Cards to help my student build their skills with instant feedback. The fun Hot Dots pens immediately let students know if their answer is correct or incorrect. These fun cards have 25 different areas of skill practice. Students will learn to solve problems independently, gaining not only confidence, but math skills as well.

This project is important to help my students practice independently.

Meeting the needs of all students in a large classroom is very difficult. Materials like these will ensure that when I am not working with students, they are still practicing math. An added benefit is that students get to practice in a fun ad engaging way.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
