Our school is a diverse community. Students from many different countries, demographics and socio-economic backgrounds participate in the band program with a love and passion for music. These talented students have been members of a band program that consistently receives accolades for excellence.
Imagine having the opportunity to change instruments and receiving an instrument that is beautiful, shiny and works everyday.
You will take pride in your playing, develop into a stronger band member and musician. The beautiful instrument will be great working condition and you practice more. The bright, shiny look and smell creates a lifelong memory. Students take pride in quality instruments. They work hard to be the best they can be. A quality instrument helps set students on the path to success. They get "hooked" on music!
Our school is a diverse community. Students from many different countries, demographics and instrument-economic backgrounds participate in the band program with a love and passion for music. These talented students have been members of a band program that consistently receives accolades in the community and state for its musical excellence: Our bands have been invited to all-state conferences and the Superstate Festival many times in the past 23 years.
My Project
Our goal is to grow the band program and have enough instruments for any student to participate. The baritones we have requested will allow students to participate in band, jazz band and even full orchestra, with an instrument in great playing condition. Many of our instruments are beyond their "life expectancy" and are wearing out. It is difficult for students to play to their potential if the instrument is constantly needing repair. After twenty four years, it is time to begin replacing these worn out instruments. New instruments will help students take greater pride in their practice and performance as well as increasing the ease of playing. I've experienced the joy it gives students!
Your donation will provide two quality baritones that have the potential to be played in four ensembles during the first year of use alone. These instruments will provide the foundational sound for many ensembles benefiting hundreds of students in the next 20-25 years.
Our band program is growing!
Our school demography has changed significantly and these instruments will help our program include any student wishing to participate. Our goal is to continue to provide a quality music program with instruments that help our students succeed. Many of our instruments are beyond their "life expectancy" and are past the expected life span. We ran out of these instruments this year and students are eager to play! Please help our students to become great musicians!
