Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember when your teacher asked for class supplies and your parents did not have time or the money to go shopping with you? You had to ask your teacher for a sheet of paper every single day, and when you had to study for a test , you couldn’t find your notes or classwork.

Please help my students to begin a successful semester by having a composition notebook ready on the first day of the class, so they will not lose their notes or classwork.

My algebra students are eager to learn, but they need to further develop note taking, graphing, and organizational skills. A majority of them come from low income families and there are times that these families have to wait weeks before they can buy classroom supplies.

My Project

The purpose of the interactive notebook is not only to help students get organized , but enable them to be creative, independent thinkers and writers. My students use interactive notebooks to take Cornell notes, solve problems, draw diagrams, graph equations, and to engage in other activities where they are asked to express their own ideas and process the information presented in class.

With your support my students will be able to begin the upcoming semester with brand new composition notebooks that will help them keep all their notes, classwork and homework well organized and in one place.
