Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most humans HATE math and science, even as adults. With the proper tools, and genuine connections, anyone can learn to love these subjects!
I am a first year teacher!
While I'm sure I'll have some challenges, I am so excited to connect and pour into my 1st graders! I want to make life long connections to learning, so that these students become enthusiastic about school, and become lifelong learners. Many of these students come from not so great homes-I want to make my classroom the most safe, exciting, comfortable, and engaging place where students are on FIRE to learn.
My Project
With your help, these resources will allow us to not only have a functioning classroom, but also will give these kiddos materials not usually afforded to them to make learning more engaging! Math and Science are hands-on subjects, and in order to bridge the gap from theory to understanding, certain tools and activities serve as the missing piece.

My students have worked hard all year while in Kindergarten, and they would really appreciate some new tools to further their functional understanding, which I am unable to provide on my own. I thank you in advance for any help you can give us.
